When measuring a countertop, always measure across the back of the countertop where the counter meets the wall.
All kitchen countertops with a backsplash are 25 ½ inches deep
All vanities with a backsplash are 22 ½ inches or 23 ¼ inches deep
An increasingly popular option is to eliminate the backsplash from your countertop which allows for easier cleaning behind the sink and offers a modern look (this is noted on the quote form as CB, Cutback)
Always include 1 inch minimum overhang on the countertop past the cabinet when calculating your required length dimensions.
